Welcome to MotiVis. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MotiVis app and website at motivis.app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
MotiVis is operated by an individual based in Texas, United States ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at privacy@motivis.app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You can create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us promptly. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app.
MotiVis lets you define personal focuses, rate your daily progress, keep notes, and track streaks and achievements. The Service is a personal tool to help you reflect on your own habits and progress. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice, and you should not treat it as a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional.
The focuses, ratings, notes, and other content you create are yours. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, display, and process your content so we can operate the Service for you. You are responsible for the content you create and for ensuring you have the right to share it.

We work to keep MotiVis available and reliable, but we provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service, at any time. We are a small, independently operated project and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that your data will always be available or error-free. You are responsible for keeping your own records of anything important to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your home country.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
